Liberty Lighthouse is a 501c3 non profit organization. Our call to serve the need of the hurting and oppressed comes from the scripture in Isaiah 61. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound. To comfort all who mourn, to give them beauty for ashes. The oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He may be glorified.
Liberty Lighthouse offers shelter to women of all ages and those with children whose lives have been devastated by circumstances causing homelessness through abuse, abandonment, poverty or any life altering situation. While in the shelter the residents participate in a twelve month program focusing on education and training with the goal of becoming self sufficient.

We also network with other shelters, ministries and churches to meet needs such as referrals from other shelters, clothing, pregnancy assistance, and infant needs. |
