Liberty Lighthouse is a non profit charitable organization. Our call to serve the need of the hurting and oppressed comes from the scripture in Isaiah 61. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound. To comfort all who mourn, to give them beauty for ashes. The oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He may be glorified.
We are a resource center that offers assistance as needed. Our shelter meets a greater need, providing women and children a safe haven. As residents all of their basic needs are met. While in the shelter our focus is to bring them out of poverty through training and education into self sufficiency thereby restoring their dignity.
Our Resource Center is open and assisting those in need. Our shelter is opening December 2009.

We also network with other ministries and churches
in our community to meet needs such as clothing, pregnancy assistance, infant needs, food, Angel Food, and financial assistance. |
